Our apartment has been classified by the

Description:

Our 70 m² attic apartment> is a cosy lodging for 2 - 4 people,
close to the village centre (and close to health-resorts
and NATO school). The apartment gets sun all day long and has a southwest balcony with mountain view (Kofel). It offers you every comfort with a cosy living/dining room (SAT/TV, CD radio), 2 bedrooms, bathroom (shower, hair dryer, washing machine), completely furnished kitchen with oven, microwave, large refrigerator with deep freeze compartment and dish washer). An additional little "breakfast corner" in the kitchen gives a marvellous view on the mountains. Furthermore a garage can be used with the apartment. Please also see the pictures to get an impression on what you can expect.

If you hire our apartment, our service includes, of course, bed linen and towels as well as spices, oil, vinegar etc. if you prefer home cooking. A friendly and reliable lady in Oberammergau takes care of the apartment for handing over the key, cleaning etc.

Oberammergau in summer and winter:

Oberammergau, that means the famous passions games every ten years with visitors from all over the world, beautiful old houses with paintings in fresco, the so-called "Lüftlmalerei" and above all the wood carvers, the so-called "carvers of crucifixes" for which Oberammergau is famous far beyond the borders. Oberammergau, that means tradition and open mind, a beautiful nature and culture.

From spring to autumn you can bike (bike rental) in the wide and flat valleys or in the mountains, take a walk, hike or climb in the mountains or you "climb" the mountains by cable railway. In winter you can choose between down hill and cross country skiing.

Oberammergau is also an ideal starting point for various sight seeing activities: Linderhof castle and Ettal monastery are just "around the corner". You can visit the famous world cultural heritage "Wieskirche" and the romantic little town of Füssen with the Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles or if you head to the other side, you have Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the "Zugspitze", Germany's highest mountain, not far away. Many lakes like Ammersee, Starnberger See, Walchen-, Kochel- or Tegernsee are worth a trip, or Murnau with its picturesque main street, museums and "Staffelsee". Munich or Innsbruck with their manifold attractions are a nice day trip. If you want to see all of it, you must pay more than one visit to Oberammergau.

Coming back from your activities you can relax in the cosy apartment or enjoy a glass of wine on the balcony admiring the sun setting behind the mountains or sit next to the oven and warm up in the wintertime.

Rainy days

Should it to rain, which unfortunately also happens during a vacation, and you do not feel for outdoor activities, you can watch TV, listen to music, read or play games or you visit the "Wellenberg" with swimming pool, sauna and other attractions - also nice for a sunny day.

Restaurants

Oberammergau offers you a great variety of restaurants: Bavarian cuisine as well as international such as Italian, Mexican or Chinese.
